How it works

Click a building or search any address. BuildingsScore finds what surrounds it — shops and groceries, public transport, parks and water, busy roads, railways, industry, noise and air quality — weighs each by how close it is and how much it matters, and turns the result into seven plain-language scores and one overall 0–5★ rating. Open any score to see the exact places behind it and walking routes to them.

The seven livability dimensions

Every address is scored across seven things that shape daily life:

Convenience — everyday shops, groceries, cafés and services within an easy walk.
Transit — how well-connected the location is by frequent public transport.
Quiet — exposure to road, rail, aircraft and industrial noise.
Environment — industry, waste and low-lying ground near water (a flood proxy).
Nature — nearby parks, green routes and water.
Safety — everyday services and the signs of a lived-in, cared-for street.
Air quality — a live reading of the air around the address, where data exists.
